All About Wood

All wood used is found around Ontario, with a majority sourced from Simcoe County. Limbs and branches are foraged after lightning storms, ice storms, and high wind events and are then repurposed into durable wooden utensils that can last a lifetime with proper care.

Arborists routinely prune trees to maintain their health and longevity, and usually mulch everything after they are done. Plenty of good wood is saved and used to create beautiful and useful items.

Hardwood used include Maple, Black Walnut, Birch, and some fruit trees like Wild Cherry and Apple.
